Have you been considering Adoption?

Florida
Anyone may be adopted in Florida. Children aged 12 or older must give their consent to the adoption unless the court decides that waiving the child's consent is in their best interest. The most important Adoption requirement-You must be at least 18 to become an adoptive parent.

You can adopt if you are single, married, divorced or widowed; own or rent; have parenting experience or none at all; already have children in your home or not.

How much does it cost to adopt a child in the state of Florida?

While private forms of adoption can cost upwards of $30,000, adopting one of Florida's children from foster care costs little or nothing. Contested Adoption requires extensive amounts of paperwork and trial. Uncontested adoption means both parents consent. If biological father is unknown, then you must do a search through putative father registry.
